On August 15, 2018, Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta, First Assistant of the Society of St. Pius X, conferred the subdiaconate and the minor orders at the Holy Cross Seminary in Goulburn, Australia.
In the presence of eleven priests, half a dozen Society Sisters and a hundred faithful, the first SSPX candidate from Nigeria took the step of solemnly committing to ecclesiastical celibacy for the rest of his life, before God and the Church.
Bishop de Galarreta also conferred the minor orders of porter, lector, exorcist and acolyte on five seminarians: two Filipinos, one Australian, one South Korean, and one New Zealander.
