On Sunday October 13, 2019 was held the 28th annual pilgrimage of the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) District of South America to Luján, the Argentine national shrine.
Starting in the morning from the Our Lady Co-Redemptrix Seminary in La Reja, the pilgrims arrived at Luján at the end of a 30-kilometer walk for the solemn mass followed by the procession to the basilica.
Present at the event were Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta, Fr. Mario Trejo, District Superior, Fr. Jean de Lassus, Rector of the Seminary, Fr. Philippe Brunet from Spain, and many priests who came to serve as chaplains for the pilgrimage.
The entire seminary, the SSPX Sisters, and the Dominican teaching sisters of the Holy Name of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, joined this manifestation of faith and piety, which brought together around one thousand faithful.
The consecration of the district to the Immaculate Heart of Mary was renewed by Bishop de Galarreta and Fr. Trejo at the foot of Our Lady of Luján, Patroness of Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.
