Abortion statistics were released in Spain for the past year, or, to put it another way, the number of murders committed with complete impunity against the weakest and most deprived.
In 2019, 459,766 children should have been born in Spain, but 99,149 of them were not born: their lives were interrupted even before their birth, and the possibility of baptism.
Indeed, 21.6% of the children conceived are aborted, that is, more than one child in five is not born by the will of his parents or his mother, and of a society that authorizes it, thus turning doctors into executioners. This figure is the highest percentage of this century.
There were 3,232 more abortions in absolute numbers than the previous year: the highest number since 2013, when it rose to 108,690.
Another sad record: the abortion rate per 1,000 women aged 15 to 44 was 11.53 in 2019, the highest since 2013, when it reached 11.74.
As for the causes that motivated the abortion: in 90.9% of cases, it was done at the woman’s request; in 5.85% the reason given was a serious risk to the health of the woman; in 3.25% there was a risk of serious fetal abnormalities.
These numbers, in their coldness, are witnesses to the almost irremediable involution of our civilization unfolding before our eyes. There where a woman thinks of killing the fruit of her womb, with the blessing of the public authorities, Christian values, or even simply human values give way to barbarism.
