12 Receive Minor Orders and 7 Take Cassock in SSPX Seminary at Zaitzkofen, Germany

On February 2 and 3, 2018, Bishop Bernard Tissier de Mallerais visited the Herz Jesu Seminary in Zaitzkofen, Bavaria.
On Friday, February 2, feast of the Presentation of the Child Jesus in the Temple and the Purification of Our Lady, he gave the cassock to seven seminarians in the Spirituality year: 2 are Polish, 1 German, 1 Austrian, 1 Russian, 1 Swiss, and 1 Czech. He also conferred the tonsure on six second-year seminarians: 2 Germans, 1 Belgian, 1 Frenchman, 1 Pole, and 1 Swiss.
The next day, His Excellency gave the third-year seminarians the first minor orders: 2 are Czech, 1 German, 1 Austrian, 1 Lithuanian, 1 French, and 1 Swiss, then the second minor orders to the fourth-year seminarians: 3 Germans, 1 Austrian, and 1 Pole.
The diversity in their nationalities is a sign of the catholicity of the work of priestly formation founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre (1905-1991).
The Church and souls are in great need of priests: “The harvest indeed is great, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send labourers into his harvest” (Lk. 10:2).
