An App for the Defense of Life Available to the Public for Bioethical Questions
An app providing Catholic answers to the major bioethical questions has been created by the Lejeune Foundation and the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life; it has been available since January 26, 2019.
Entitled Keys to Bioethics, this new digital instrument’s goal is to provide “young people everywhere in the world with the fruits of many years of reflection on the value of life, all human life, and in particular the life of the most vulnerable that requires redoubled attention,” said Jean-Marie Le Méné, president of the Jérôme Lejeune Foundation.
The application seeks to provide scientific explanations and ethical commentaries on the most topical issues and should help to show that “the teaching of the popes (is) perfectly compatible with science,” adds Monica Lopez Barahona, president of the Spanish delegation of the Jérôme Lejeune Foundation.
