On Sunday, November 11, 2018, Bishop Bernard Fellay, auxiliary bishop and general counselor of the Society of Saint Pius X, administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to 81 Mexican faithful in a ceremony at the Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

During his sermon, the pontiff recalled the importance of living the life of sanctifying grace that is God present in the soul, and pointed out that Confirmation gives us the means to fight to achieve a greater level of sanctity.

By the unction of the Holy Chrism and the imposition of the hands, the Christian receives the fullness of the Holy Ghost and His gifts, which make him capable of laying down his life if need be for Christ to reign over souls and societies.

Bishop Bernard Fellay ended this month of November with a long apostolic visit to Guatemala and Mexico, where the SSPX has several priories and a large number of faithful.
