Diaconal and Priestly Ordinations in La Reja – 2022
On Saturday, December 17, 2022, Ember Days of Advent, the ceremony of ordination to the diaconate and the priesthood took place.
At 9:30 a.m., Bishop Tissier de Mallerais, officiating and under the blessing of Providence on a cool and pleasant spring day, began the beautiful ceremony with which our academic cycle ends each year.
On this occasion, Deacon Jesús Rivera Guiscafré, of the district of Mexico, was ordained a priest, and the four candidates who had received the sub-diaconate in October from the hands of Bishop Fellay were ordained deacons: 2 Argentinians, 1 Brazilian, and 1 Filipino.
After Mass, the new priest blessed the faithful in the church.
Let us continue to pray much to the Lord of the harvest to grant us many holy priests.
