Ecône – Sub-Diaconate and Second Minor Orders – 2025
On Saturday, April 5, 2025, Bishop Bernard Fellay conferred ordinations at the St. Pius X Seminary. He ordained seminarians from the Ecône Seminary to the Second Minor Orders, and seminarians from Ecône, as well as seminarians from Zaitzkofen, to the sub-diaconate.
On Saturday, April 5, 2025, Bishop Bernard Fellay conferred the Second Minor Orders – Exorcist and Acolyte – on five fourth-year seminarians for the SSPX (two French, two Italians, and one Luxembourger), as well as on a Capuchin friar from Morgon.
This ceremony was followed by the ordination to the subdiaconate, the first major order, of four seminarians from Ecône (one Argentinian, one Belgian, one Spaniard, and one Frenchman), as well as five seminarians from Zaitzkofen (two Germans, one Australian, one Lebanese, and one Polish).
