First Masses 2017

On Saturday, July 8th, nine new priests offered their First Masses in various locations at the Seminary, and they were overflowing with the visiting faithful.
A First Mass is typically preceded by the chanting of the "Veni Creator Spiritus" and is followed by the "Magnificat." The newly ordained priest customarily administers holy communion to his parents first.
All those who attended the First Masses on July 8th were able to benefit from a plenary indulgence under the normal conditions.
