Fr. Daniel Cooper Fell Asleep in the Lord on the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker

The Priestly Society of St. Pius X asks its faithful to pray for the repose of the soul of one of its members. Fr. Daniel Cooper died a holy death on the morning of May 1, 2018, at a hospital in Houston, TX.

Fr. Daniel Cooper was born on December 12, 1962. He did his seminary in Ridgefield, CT, and was ordained by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, founder of the SSPX, on June 29, 1987, at the international seminary of Econe in the Swiss Valais.

The deceased priest exercised a fruitful and varied apostolate in the US district for over thirty years, serving in the priories of Armada, Los Gatos, Veneta, Arcadia, and Dickinson, which was his final post.

Born on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the 12th of December, he returned to his Maker after a long illness on May 1, the feast of St. Joseph, who is also the patron saint of a Holy Death.
