France: Fr. Bouchacourt to replace Fr. de Cacqueray on August 15
A statement from Fr. Régis de Cacqueray, District Superior of France, dated 21 February 2014, announced that, on a decision of Bishop Bernard Fellay, Superior General of the Society of St. Pius X, he will be replaced at the end of his second term, on August 15, by Father Christian Bouchacourt, who is at present the district superior of South America.
Fr. Christian Bouchacourt was born in 1959 and ordained at Ecône in 1986. He was first prior in Unieux near Saint-Etienne (1986-1996), chaplain of St. Germaine de Wagram in Paris (1996-1997), pastor of St. Nicolas in Paris (1997 - 2003). He has been in charge of the District of South America since August 15, 2003.
