Lourdes Pilgrimage 2023 – Day One: Saturday, October 28

The traditional pilgrimage to Lourdes opened around the feast of Christ the King. It began on Saturday, October 28, on the feast of Sts. Simon and Jude, with a Solemn High Mass followed by Stations of the Cross.
Saturday, October 28, 2023
- 2:00pm: Rosary at the Basilica of St. Pius X
- 2:30pm: Solemn High Mass at the Basilica of St. Pius X
- 4:00pm: The Prairie Stations of the Cross (accessible to pilgrims with reduced mobility)[JO1]
- 4:20pm, 4:40pm, 5:00pm: The Espélugues Stations of the Cross
There was no torchlight procession this year, due to restrictions made by Sanctuary management.
