Maurice Island: The Bible Translated into Creole

The New Testament now exists in Creole.  According to the Maurician newspaper L'Express, dated March 2, it was symbolically presented on February 26, 2011, in the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, in Roche Bois (Maurice Island), under the title of “Parol bondié dan nou lang maternel” (The Word of the good God in our mother tongue).
