Tattoos – silly, but not necessarily for life

A nun from Los Angeles, Sr. June Wilkerson, aged 78, is convinced that the tattoos depicted on the skin of young people have nothing to do with art, but show a deviance. In order to help them to become reintegrated into society, she has devoted herself to renewing their skin, by removing their tattoos. With great success! Since 1998, more than 300 treatments per year have been carried out!

Episcopal intoxication

Mgr. Andrzej Sliwinski, bishop of Elblag in Poland, has been forced to abandon his episcopal duties. Not for reasons of age, but for having caused an accident, last May, in a state of drunkenness. If only he had meditated on St. Paul’s Epistle to Titus (1, 7): “For a bishop must be without crime, as the steward of God: not proud, not subject to anger, not given to wine….” – He has been replaced by Mgr. Jan Styrna. Our best wishes to the new bishop: Sobrius esto!
