Ordination to the Diaconate 2017
On Thursday, 14 December, we have the joyful occasion of His Lordship Bishop Alfonso de Gallereta ordaining a deacon for Holy Mother Church, in the presense of 27 priests, 6 SSPX nuns, and nearly 100 faithful.
The Bishop traveled a long journey to Goulburn, Australia, and celebrated a Solemn Pontifical Mass (Votive Mass of the Holy Ghost) in conferring the Sacred Order of the Diaconate to Rev. Mr. John Mwangi of Kenya.
A few days before this event, the Seminary also hosted the annual priest meeting for the District of Australia and New Zealand, under Fr. John Fullerton, District Superior.
Fr. Pablo Enrique Suarez, SSPX General Bursar, and Fr. Yves Le Roux, rector of the SSPX American Seminary, were present in the meeting, as well as in the ordination ceremonies.

The following day, a Solemn High Mass was celebrated by Fr. Paul Robinson, with the newly-ordained Rev. Mr. Mwangi as Deacon, and fellow African seminarian, Mr. Martin Anozie, acting as Subdeacon.
