Lent is a time of "penance." As mid-Lent quickly approaches, we must again encourage ourselves in this virtue and its practice.
The word is abhorred by modern civilization, which only wants to seek pleasure. But Christ Jesus came to teach it to us insistently.
Three small talks give some reminders about this notion and its practice, which is falling into disuse.
