Priestly Ordinations at Dillwyn – January 6, 2022
Priestly ordinations were held at the St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Dillwyn, Virginia, on the Feast of the Epiphany.
These ordinations, celebrated by Bishop Bernard Fellay, was specially organized for the two seminarians from the Holy Cross Seminary in Goulburn, Australia: Phillip Muijc, from the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, Australia and Mikhail Del Rosario from the Diocese of Auckland, New Zealand.
In fact, because of travel restrictions, the last time a bishop visited Goulburn was in December 2019. In December 2020, Bishop de Galarreta ordained three deacons from Goulburn in Bredell, South Africa to the priesthood.
A third priest was ordained on this day: James Hewko, an American from the Archdiocese of Covington, Kentucky, who attended the Dillwyn seminary.
