Readings for the Traditional Mass Soon to be Available in Braille

The Latin Mass Society in England is currently completing the project of producing the traditional Ordinary of the Mass in Braille for the visually impaired. It should be available by the end of January.
Did you know that January 4 is World Braille Day? This day recognizes the unequalled contributions of Louis Braille – whose birthday it is – in helping blind and visually impaired people to read and write.
With this message posted on its Facebook page, The Latin Mass Society (LMS) announced that it is printing the Ordinary of the Traditional Mass in Braille, “the only one of its kind, available soon”, added the editor.
Joseph Shaw, director of the LMS, explained that this idea came from “many requests” for such a missal. He also said a second work in Braille will later complete the first: the Canon of the Mass, followed by other important liturgical texts, more particularly for visually impaired priests.
