United States: public Satanic Cult scheduled in Oklahoma City
A Satanic ceremony is planned to be held in the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City on September 21. To attract the curious and promote the ritual held in public, the organizers announced the deliberate desecration of a consecrated Host. Following the response of the archdiocese and the filing of a complaint with the American justice system, the Host was returned on August 21.
Not relieved by this restitution, Archbishop Paul Coakley (in the picture) of Oklahoma City, said he was "concerned about the spiritual dangers” this poses to all who are directly or indirectly involved in this Satanic ceremony. Earlier this month, in an open letter, he asked Catholics to pray a novena to St. Michael the Archangel and do penance to try to prevent this Black Mass. “This Satanic ritual is deadly serious. It is a blasphemous and obscene inversion of the Catholic Mass." The call to prayer was echoed by the United States District of the Society of Saint Pius X.
Archbishop Paul Coakley repeatedly requested that the city authorities not make public buildings available to the Satanic group to organize such a ritual. This was in vain, for the municipal authorities have argued the "city’s neutrality" concerning the practice of any "religious expressions."
According to the APIC agency, on August 23, the administrator of the civic center reminded that similar events had been organized in previous years and “had little or no attention."
The program is now expected to take place. It is organized by an official organization whose leader is, according to an article published on August 8 on the foxnews.com website, a sex offender "covered with Satanic tattoos all over his body." In the same article, we learn that a reverse exorcism ceremony is scheduled for the evening to "take the Holy Spirit out of a person."
Local authorities, however, have decided to have a police officer present to prevent possible infringements of civil code.
