The Vatican Apostolic Library subject of an exhibition

From November 11 until January 31, 2011, in the Charlemagne Wing of the Vatican, there will be an exhibition dedicated to the Vatican Apostolic Library, which reopened its doors on September 20 after three years of important renovation work.

The Vatican Library announced to journalists on November 9 that it is presenting to the public an exhibition entitled “Knowing the Vatican Apostolic Library:  a story open to the future”.  During the press conference the Cardinal archivist of the Library, Raffaele Farina spoke, along with Msgr. Cesare Pasini, prefect of the Library, and Barbara Jatta, the organizer of the exhibition.  Benedict XVI will visit it on December 18.  (Sources : VIS/Apic/Imedia – DICI no. 227 dated December 18, 2010)
