Vatican City: Special Postmark at the Vatican Post Office

The Vatican Post Office are creating a special postmark on the occasion of the apostolic visit of Benedict XVI to the Czech Republic. This postmark represents the pope in front of Prague Saint Vitus’s Cathedral, with an inscription in Latin. For this postmark, the philatelic material to cancel stamps must reach the stamp cancellation Bureau of the Vatican Post Office before October 28, 2009. (DICI n° 202 - 17/10 – Source: Apic)
